the Road Runner on the left looks like the concept that was on the show circuit, on the right is Don Prudhommes funny car Barracuda, in the center looks like the Hemi that was a show model.
this Chrysler dealership is hosting the Rapid Transit System, that is the colorful text on the far left side of the photo
I've never seen this photo before, or even heard of the tour that these cars were on together, this is one incedible photo!
Cool aircraft!
huge difference in photo quality, but it's a Barracuda I haven't seen before
All from a Tumblr I just came across http://mecanicien.tumblr.com/

Jalopnik just rediscovered the Rapid Transit System classic poster ads, no one does cool art advertising much anymore, damn shame

above on http://jalopnik.com/i-love-the-artwork-from-this-ad-campaign-you-can-still-509315001 and in the comments was a link to the next
Which had me wondering what Rapid Transit System posters I've posted previously
and Dodge was doing a similar ad campaign with the "Scat Pack" and using the Super Bee
and Dodge did a similar advertising campaign at the same time with the "Scat Pack"
it's a 68 or 69 Road runner, the fender reflectors are 1969 in front, 1968 in back. Huh.
